About Catherine Ocampo

Catherine Cat Ocampo

Catherine “Cat” Ocampo is a South Florida Real Estate Agent in training.

She was born and raised in sunny South Florida, has two amazing older brothers, and the hardest working mom ever.

From 2014-2016, Cat attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando where she earned her bachelor’s degree. After graduating, she found a passion for web development and self-taught her way into the technology industry.

A Glance at Cat’s Professional History

Since college, her professional history has involved working in tech for a financial publishing company and later at a web development agency. During those years, she realized and reflected on her strengths (honest, hard-working, and a genuine desire to help people) which led her to pursue the real estate industry.

Currently, she is on track to earn her real estate license in early October 2019. Once licensed, she will be taking on a low-pressure, people-first approach to working with clients. (That is, the same approach she would want to be treated with!)

Ultimately, Cat believes the best way to do the work of a Real Estate Agent is to advocate for her clients by being trustworthy, resourceful, and calm. Typically, buying property is the largest purchase the average person makes which can be extremely stressful. On the flip side, the process of selling property can also be a great source of stress if not done wisely. That said, Cat’s goal as a Real Estate Agent is to make these processes as smooth, simple, and stress-free as possible.

Everyone Deserves to Be Treated with Respect

Truly, it is in Cat’s best interest to treat every person (regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, disability, etc.) with the utmost respect.
